Although New Yorkers are on the streets every day of the year, the arrival of Spring is a free gift of joy to all who is outdoors. The golden rays of light, the warmth in the air and the light blue sky is the perfect combination to encourage someone to make the most of their day.
In order to take advantage of this delightful weather, I recommend spending some time in Central Park. This area of 843 acres has a variety of things to do/see including many ponds, playgrounds, restaurants, statues, and sport facilities. The reason why I love to be in Central Park is because I can do all of the activities that I normally do indoors. If desired to read a book, one has complete freedom in choosing a spot that satisfies them. If desired to chat with a friend, one can sit on the grass, the benches, the rocks or the stairs. If desired to do some exercise, one can ride a bicycle, jog or run, or even play basketball and baseball. If desired to take a nap during the day, one can enjoy the fresh air while lying down on a non-transitated area. If desired to see some animals, go visit the Central Park Zoo! And the list could go on and on. So if you are somebody like me who would enjoy any of this activities, then I encourage you to go to Central Park!
